Summary
This class is one of the prerequisites for intermediate and advanced level courses. In this class we will learn to use a variety of tools and marking devices to accurately indicate where parts will be cut.
Description
We will use several different tools to measure and mark lines on wood parts for accurate cuts. Measuring, more often than not, does not require a tool but instead, one will learn to show pieces of the project to other pieces to mark out the exact size. This is in cases where we don't really care what the "plan" says the dimension of a part ought to be, but what the actual pieces that have been cut to are. This reduces the chances of error when individually measuring parts. The key to accurate assembly of the project is that pieces are consistently the same size and fit properly.
