Woodshop: - Machine Specific Class -- sanders

We will go over safely using the various sanding machines that we have at Hatch. We will discuss and demonstrate various features and methods of use. We will also go over some basic maintenance procedures. Managing dust collection is critical while using sanders. Dust masks must be worn to protect our lungs; we have a system of air filtration boxes around the shop to help with air quality.

Safety glasses, dust masks, hearing protection and close toed shoes are recommended. Some available on hand. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
