Ceramic Flower Pinch Pots! (3/20/26)

A floral twist on this beginner friendly single session workshop! Make and learn all about pinch pots in this two hour session led by Ceramic Studio Specialist Jackie Bahnsen. Students will hand build two small pots in the shape flowers with variable amounts of petals. This project focuses on the pinching technique to create forms with stamps and tools available for surface and design experimentation.  

This workshop utilizes underglaze to achieve color and form in one session. Students will apply color to their pieces and an optional carving technique referred to as Sgraffito will be demonstrated. Pots will then go through the firing process after the class and a clear glaze will be applied by the instructor. Return in a few weeks to take home your fired creations! Students will receive an email when pieces are ready for pick up. 

All materials and equipment supplied.

Ages: 8+

Children aged 15 and under must have accompanying adult.

Dress weather appropriate! The studios are not climate controlled. Studio clothes recommended, things can get messy! 

Face Masks are optional
